I wish I had the nerve to wear hair pieces as my hair is real fine and have alot in some places and not so much in others.
Help! Paula Dean’s hair looks so nice.

  2. Myra says:

I’ve had baby fine, thin hair all my life, but after age 45, I started showing scalp in front, and I can no longer grow bangs at all, even wispy ones. I LOVE hairpieces such as Lite Touch or Modest Touch, and the Hollywood Bangs. I also love my new Rennie wig. I would advise you to try a human hair hairpiece because you can color or highlight it if needed. Also, you might want to go to your stylist with it, and get tips on integrating it with your own hair to give you more confidence in beginning to wear it.

I received my wigs Saturday, 03/13/2010. They are just beautiful. Prettier than it shows in the catalog or on the Paula Young site. One is the Sabrina in brownish blond with light ash blond frosting. The other is the Sophistication with the color of honey blond with golden blond highlights. I am absolutely thrilled with them. Thanks, Paula Young. I love the light weight also. I can’t say enough good things about them. By the way, NO ONE coaxed me into saying this about them. It’s the honest truth.

  4. Judy Gross says:

I just received my new wig and it was gorgeous. HOWEVER i had to give it away because it was too small (average). Not fair !! We need to have more selection in the large size.

  5. Betty Lou davey says:

I have enjoyed your wigs for several years, also hair pieces. I am now shopping for a wiglet. I went on line to view the videos. I have seen other company videos such as Home shopping on their wigs. I am sorry to say your video is not as helpful as it certainly could be. We need to see more of the construction less of the lovely woman speaking. Also need before and after pictures instead of outlines in white that really are not helpful at all. One site for the Lasting touch style, all the pictures and chart lines are very very different.
Please get a new presentation. I hope to try one of the wiglets but I am not sure yet which one will suite my needs. thank you

I am 70 yo…and have severe thinning of hair on top. I have been wearing wigs for the past two years and even though I am a “head sweater”….I’ve been able to cope. I’d rather die than go bald and look so very, very old. Boy it makes a huge difference not only to me but to others.

I find the Wendy a great wig and have a couple of them and am now venturing out to try the new “Roxanne”…the breathable wig. I’m anxious for their arrival…I have three coming. Yep…I’m sold alright!

I had two surgeries withing a five year period and do believe that took care of the balding problem that I already had against me due to heredity.

  7. Diana says:

Hi – I started wearing wigs about a year ago and have had pretty good luck. Mine is due to a medical condition. It’s been extremely hard psychologically as my natural hair was beautiful and naturally curly, it was always my best feature. Anyway, it helps relieve some of my stress to know that women such as Paula Deen and many other celebrities wear hair pieces and wigs as well. I’ve never hid the fact that I’m wearing a wig, but no one really asks they just say things like, Lovely hair, nice style, etc… I won’t buy my wigs from anywhere but Paula Young either. My first wig was purchased through another company with no help at all and the folks at Paula Young have been nothing but helpful to me all along the way. Thanks and many thanks!!!

I would like to see some bergundy, and cherry coke colors…….you have really none in those color ranges.

  9. Laura Theurer says:

I never see extentions in your catalog or what you advertise on the internet. I would love to see the various type you have.

  10. IRENE HEATH says:

AVERAGE SEEMS TO BE THE BIGGEST HIT ON PAULA YOUNG-THERE ARE LOTS OF US WHO AREN’T EXACTLY SPRING CHICKENS BUT LOVE TO BE CURRENT AND AS YOUTHFUL LOOKING AS POSSIBLE. WHY IS IT THAT ALL THE MIN-I AND PETITE WIGS ARE REALLY SHORT? I’M CERTAIN IF YOU HAD A NICE LIGHT WEIGHT LONGER (SHOULDER) LENGTH HUMAN HAIR WIG-YOU COULDN’T KEEP IT IN STOCK. EVEN ONE WITH AN ELASTIC TYPE CAP THAT STRETCHED FROM SMALL TO MEDIUM WOULD BE NICE. I, UNFORTUNATELY HAVE ALMOST GIVEN UP, AS I HAVE GOTTEN A FEW WIGS THAT I HAD TO RETURN BECAUSE THEY DON’T FIT-LOOSING MONEY EACH TIME, VERY FRUSTRATING. THIS WOULD HELP US LITTLE HEAD PERSONS ALONG WITH THE BIGGER HEADED PEOPLE-WE HAVE MONEY TOO. MY PARTICULAR HEAD AROUND IS ONLY 10 1/4 INCHES, LEAVING A LOT OF ROOM- I’VE BEEN EMBARRASSED A COUPLE OF TIMES FROM SLIPAGE. MAYBE YOU CAN THINK ABOUT US-MANY WOULD APPRECIATE IT…

Hi Irene. Thank you for your feedback. We are always evaluating the performance of every style to see if expanding the size and color is a good fit. I will pass your suggestion along to our merchandising department! Thanks again & have a great day!

  11. Carolyn Ator says:

I love your wigs, but I have trouble getting a large size. I have a big head! I want Large, not average to large. Thanks for your great website and caring about us. I have an autoimmune disease that affected my hair?

  12. Hope Dingler says:

I went to the Paula Young website as suggested in the catalog to see the video on how to put on the wig the best and easiest way. I also bought the hair nets. Clicked on the Video on the website and it says done on the bottom of my computer screen but nothing changes, same options to view the video. It doesn’t work. Please see whats up with the web site or video. I would like to watch a video, your companies especially since I bought the Ryan, in brown. I love it, matches my own hair style and color exactly. 49 yrs old and very very thin on top. Trying to figure out how to get it on so it looks natural. Thank you. I am very very happy with the wig, but would like guidence, since its my first one.

    • Patricia says:

      Hi Hope.

I’ve looked into the video issue and they all appear to be working on our end. I recommend downloading the latest Flash software to ensure all videos load correctly. Hopefully this helps! Have a great day and good luck with the Ryan wig!

  13. Kate Zichichi says:

    Hi,
I am new to this and I saw your video on caring for your wig. At the end she said that the wig should last you a good 3 to 6 months. Is that the total lifetime of the wig? If so, that seems like a lot of money to spend. If not, what is the lifetime of a wig if you take good take care of it?
    Kate

    • Patricia says:

Hi Kate. The video is correct the average lifespan of a wig is 3-6 months with daily use. However, we have seen wigs last longer with proper care.

  14. Karen says:

will the wavy touch intergration every be offered in human hair?

    • Patricia says:

Hi Karen, At this point in time we are not planning to offer these in human hair as these are still fairly new to the line. I’ve passed this suggestion to our merchandising department and they said they will keep this request in mind for the future development. Thank you for your suggestion Karen! Have a great day.

  15. Ming Roberson says:

I wanted to order a number of different wigs but either they didn’t come in a large size or they didn’t come in my color(44) like Brittany. All of your wigs should come in large and grays. Even some of your hair pieces don’t come in grays. I hope you get it together soon or I’ll be forced to look elsewhere.

    Ming

  16. Mary Christensen says:

I have a petite size and wear wiglets which are nice. Why not have a wiglet that is a little longer, maybe two or three inches more but not being a wig. I wear a hearing aid and would like to cover it a bit. Whats your take on this suggestion. I’m sure there are a lot of ladies that fit into this suggestion. Lets get it for the fall.

  17. Evelyn says:

My problem is in finding a proper color. What would make it a lot easier for me is if in the catalog the color shown in each wig would be given – not just those of the exclusive colors. I have so wanted to get one or two in red/strawberry blonde and gray. I have an Abby, but I still don’t know what color she is as someone else picked it out as I showed her the nearest color I liked! I love it and would perhaps even get another style in the same color. I have one swatch pack, but now they don’t seem to be available. I guess I’m a nervous Nellie about it, but on a fixed income, I’ve got to be sure. I just finished chemo in March and I start a new round in a few weeks for a different cancer. It’s late now to get a new one, but if the catalogs would do this, what a help. The web site would be nice, too, but I’d settle for one or the other!!!

  18. w says:

I love your wigs. I have lost most of my hair after breast surgery. Your wigs have been a a real blessing. I just wish you would have more variety in the large size, my head is very large and even your large size wigs barely stretch enough to cover my head from ear to ear.

I RECEIVED MY JACEY WIG TODAY AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

  20. Carol Recher says:

What hairpieces does Paula Deen wear, sure would be nice if she would come out with a wig like her hair, Carol

  21. Lee Watson says:

I love all my Paula wigs. I currently have three but would love to add more. I agree that it would be extremely helpful to have the color of the wig listed that the model is wearing.

    Thanks,
    Lee, Kansas City, MO

  22. Patricia says:

Thank you Judy! Glad that you liked it…
